Acacia rehmanniana

The Silky Thorn is closely related to A. sieberiana (flaky bark), A. pilispina and A. abyssinica. It shows velvety leaves with very small leaflets. Upper branches reddish; Hairy twigs and thorns. Fresh fruit straight. Gland on petiole of bipinnate leaf. Big leaves with many (>14) pair of pinnae.
