 Robinia pseudoacacia with the acacias:

 Habitus of tree; Bark of older tree; Stipular spines; Smell of flowers; Form of  leaves; type and form of fruit (see below).

 Differences:

 Flowers; Pinnate leaves (acacias have bipinnate leaves); Size and position of  leaflets: big leaflets and apical leaflet (latter not found with acacia)
