Vachellia hebeclada ssp. chobiensis

In the beginning of January 2017 I found a multi-stemmed, broad bush at Hakusembe Lodge near Rundu in Northern Namibia adjoining the Kavango River. It had very broad upright pods. It was my first encounter with Vachellia hebeclada ssp. chobiensis occuring only in the northeast of Namibia and in Botswana in the Chobe area, with a single record near Gabarone.
